Building Water Confidence
Parents can help establish trust by sitting back from the class and allowing external guidance, problem-solving, etc. Talk with your child(ren) about their time at lessons and your role during this time versus formal instruction. If needed, talk with the water coach about how to help establish boundaries.
Open Pool Time
Enjoy recreational pool time to build comfort in the water by spending time together during a recreational swim at your local YMCA.
Prevent Drowning
Safety is the number one priority around any depth of water. Learn about water safety and family-friendly pool practices.
